ladies and gentlemen, here is the interview with: mr LOpez/cianomagenta!!!
1 - how where and when did you start? what are you doing actually?
I don't exactly remember if i was in my uncle Giorgio's trimmer workshop, or in the kitchen, tracing off road Lancia 037 with the carbon paper. Anyway, I think it is a family matter. More than twenty years may have passed. In between, many families and many colors. Nevertheless, I don't see extraneous from my whole evolution what I did this afternoon.
Today I draw four members of a alien's family...with robotic parts.
2 - visual performances, graphics, flyers, photography, an thousands other things: many personalities or many forms to express the same core?
My problem is that I am always searching for something. I must satisfy my indispensable curious personalities. in order to do that I must reach a result, that maybe arrives after millions of minutes, after an intuition, or sometimes its "luck".... whether it might be a curve that perfectly complements the nearest, or a subject, positioning in the most interesting part of the low pass filter.
I love what I do, I realize it when I can't keep my satisfied eyes off while contemplating an ".AI" file.
3 - How do you perceive the "local" scene? Is there room for brand new artists? is there creativity all around?
Modena as I know it, as a lucky step citizen, has a good influence. It surely comes from the ground..from food, from people, from their personal past.
I trust in people's ideas. When there are people in turmoil, there might be created "bombs". The best part is that you can't foresee neither who started it all, nor how many "tic tac" are to go.
I placed my "bombs" here... and there. I hope you realize about the others on time.
